Like most ordinary working people, we are concerned by the rise of British National Socialism, whose racist and intolerant values are inimical to those of Britain. The election of two members of the British National Party to the European Parliament in June 2009 was a shock to the system, but it was also a wake up call to anyone who thinks you can confront neofacism by leaving it to others and ignoring the causes. We believe in addressing the concerns of those people who feel alienated from their society by government failures on issues like immigration, Europe, religious extremism and job insecurity. We believe in standing up to the BNP’s politics of racism and intimidation. This means providing fair and balanced rebuttal of the BNP’s message.
