Mark was elected as the MP for the Cities of London and Westminster constituency in 2001, and was reelected with an increased majority in 2005. He takes a special interest in economic matters, foreign trade and international development, and is currently Chairman of the AllParty Group on Business Services and since mid2008 has been Acting Chairman of the AllParty Venture Capital and Private Equity Group.
